Black screen-can't turn on-iPod touch

I can't get my iPod touch to turn on. I have tried plugging in and resetting it but the screen remains black
Ever since a storm My Ipod Wi-Fi has been acting weird. It shut off and even though I know my password is correct it is still saying incorrect! What do I do?!

It balances nicely on its pedestal, tilting with a soft touch, but this thing is a beast made of aluminum and glass! It's not as tall installed as you might think (20.5? is enough headroom), but it's almost 26? wide and more space is needed on the right ... Two stage I don't like: One. the screen can't be clearly seen whenever strong sunshine. Two. Seems I never successfully mounted on my personal window, maybe this is my problem. Chart is old, it would be much better if free map ... It is simple to adjust the screen's lighting from the settings menus, or switch between day and night modes.
